I design and create sustainable upcycled bags and jewellery reusing and recycling materials to create practical, beautiful Bag and Jewellery designs that don’t always scream ‘eco-warrior’. I predominantly use inner tubes from vehicles that cannot be recycled or re-used and old seat belts from scrapped cars, for my bags making them durable, mostly waterproof and free from animal products. My jewellery is made from offcuts from bag making along with beads and bits from pre-loved jewellery and other waste items.

To move into a more sustainable era of design and craft there needs to be an increased focus on the use of materials that can be practical and beautiful without that ‘obviously recycled’ look. Sustainable accessories need be practical, make use of waste resources whilst remaining up to date with trends in aesthetics.

I am from Dartmoor but am currently living in Bristol. IĀ aspire to make bags and jewellery that is urban yet handmade whilst being practical and stylish.
